Joints, Tendons & Ligaments

Joint Ligament STaR

Duration
35 min
Session protocol
ONE JOINT PER treatment. Bilateral hocks or bilateral fetlocks are two treatments on the Baby.

When to reach for it

joint and ligament support, repeated load, sport horse prevention, after hard going

About this program

Every joint depends on its ligaments to hold position and guide movement. Repeated load — hard going, deep going, tight turns — strains that partnership before anything is torn, and the joint loses confidence before it loses soundness.

Consider this program when:

  • a heavy week or hard going lies behind the horse
  • one joint takes the most load in the discipline
  • returning to work after a strain, within the vet's plan
  • routine joint care for the sport horse

One joint per treatment — bilateral hocks or fetlocks mean two runs. Centre it on the joint the work loads hardest.
