Bio-Energy-Stimulation for horses

An athlete's recovery, in your hands.

A microcurrent device you run yourself — for the horse in full work, and the one on the way back.

A Non-Restricted Supportive Therapy under FEI Veterinary Regulations Art. 1062 — run it yourself, in his stable, at the show.

Situations

You know your horse. Start there.

You know your horse better than anyone. What the library adds is the program — each one named, with its indication written out, so you always know what you are running and why.

The situations are the way in. Behind them is the full library: 7 categories, 73 programs — the whole horse, not just the legs.

At the show

The one you're allowed to use.

At an FEI event, electrical therapy is split in two. TENS, NMES and interferential current are Restricted — only an FEI-approved Permitted Equine Therapist or a trained vet may use them on your horse.

Microcurrent is on the other list. Article 1062 makes it Non-Restricted: the person responsible for the horse may run it themselves, in his stable.

So it comes with you, and it works on the day it matters most.

Non-Restricted Supportive Therapies include: … microcurrent.

The technology

Bio-Energy-Stimulation, in three parts.

B-E-St works in microamperes — millionths of an amp — delivered through adhesive pads on the skin. Nothing is injected and nothing is administered.

The current
Small enough to work at the scale the body works at, and below the level that makes a muscle contract — in most cases below what the horse notices at all.
The frequency
Every tissue and every condition has its own; a kidney cell does not vibrate like a muscle cell. Each program carries the frequencies it was written for, and the STaR programs cross two — one for the condition, one for the tissue.
The points
Where the pads go comes from forty years of work in osteopathy, manual therapy and acupuncture, re-reasoned placement by placement for the horse.

A treatment

  1. Choose the program

This is not a one-job device. Whatever is in front of you — the filled leg, the day after a class, the week of box rest — there is a program written for it, and you build the set your horse actually needs.

  2. Place the pads

Every program has its own placement. The manual carries all of them. The points come from osteopathy, manual therapy and acupuncture, and they were worked out for the program they belong to.

  3. Press start

One program, one press. The device holds the current, the frequencies and the timing, and nothing needs adjusting while it runs. Most take about 30 minutes; the shortest is 3 minutes — enough to run one in the lorry park after a class. Nothing to feel beyond a faint tingle, no heat, and no need to restrain him.

Baby B-E-St

One device. You choose what goes on it.

There is one Baby B-E-St. What differs between the modules is which programs are on it when it arrives — Horse Performance for the horse in work, Horse Recovery for the one on the way back, and Rider Athlete, because you are an athlete too.

B-E-St PRO

Your horse is an athlete. So are you.

The rider trains, travels, competes and recovers on the same calendar as the horse, and gets a fraction of the attention for it. One of the modules is written for the person instead of the animal — the same device, the same recovery logic, a different body.

There is no checkout here. Sales happen by conversation — the answer is not the same for a rider with one horse, a yard with twenty, or a physiotherapist working across a dozen yards.

Tell us what you are running and what you want it to do. We will say honestly whether this fits, including when it does not.
