Hoof, Legs, Circulation & Swelling
Laminitis STaR
- Duration
- 30 min
When to reach for it
laminitis support alongside veterinary treatment, laminitis-prone ponies, recovery phase comfort
About this program
Laminitis is the foot's catastrophe: the living connection between hoof wall and bone inflamed and at risk. It is a veterinary emergency at the start and a long three-way project afterwards — vet, farrier, owner — measured in months.
Consider this program when:
- a veterinary-managed laminitis case is through the acute crisis
- the recovery months of box rest and remedial farriery need support
- a laminitis-prone pony is under management in the risk seasons
- comfort care is agreed as part of the veterinary plan
Never during the acute phase without the vet's explicit agreement — and never instead of the diet, farriery and treatment doing the real work. Sudden foot pain, rocking back, heat and pounding pulses: that is the emergency call, immediately.
