Breathing & Airways
Mold/Respiratory System STaR
- Duration
- 34 min
When to reach for it
airways under mould and dust load, damp barns, hay quality problems
About this program
Horse airways are built for open steppe and live above bedding. When hay or a damp barn adds mould to every breath, the airways answer with irritation that no program can out-run — until the air is fixed.
Consider this program when:
- breathing effort tracks with stabling, hay or season
- a mould or dust problem in the barn has been identified
- the airways are recovering after the environment was fixed
- alongside veterinary care for an environment-linked airway case
Air quality is the treatment; this program accompanies the airways while it improves. Laboured breathing at rest remains a veterinary emergency.
