Muscles, Back, Neck & Pelvis
Neck
- Duration
- 30 min
When to reach for it
braced or sore neck, fussiness in the contact, tension after dental work
About this program
The neck is the horse's steering wheel and balance pole in one — and it braces at everything: an unsteady hand, a sore tooth, a wrong-height feeder, an old pull-back on the ties. A braced neck restricts the whole front end.
Consider this program when:
- the horse braces its neck and resists the contact
- poll and upper neck stay tight after dental or veterinary work
- stiffness turns the whole front end wooden
- an older horse's neck is losing its lateral bend
Both sides in one treatment. A neck that will not bend one way, or any front-limb stumbling, is a veterinary case — necks hide serious findings.
