Allergic Bronchiolitis STaR

Sometimes an allergy does not stop at the skin: the airways join in, and a horse that was merely itchy becomes a horse that breathes hard. The allergic airway is irritable, reactive and quick to narrow.

Consider this program when:

• an allergic reaction comes with breathing signs
• seasonal sensitivity reaches the airways each year
• hives and airway irritation appear together
• supporting the horse while the trigger is hunted down

Finding and removing the trigger is the real treatment — this program accompanies the airways while that work is done. Laboured breathing at rest is a veterinary case.
