Carpus STaR

The carpus — the horse's 'front knee' — is a stack of small bones that catches the full force of every landing and every galloping stride. Jumping and fast work age it early, and it rarely complains loudly until it is far along.

Consider this program when:

• the horse jumps or works at speed regularly
• the carpus is puffy or warm after big efforts
• an older sport horse is showing wear in front
• routine care for the front-limb joints in hard work

One carpus per treatment. New heat, swelling or lameness at the carpus is a veterinary case before it is a program.
